Get Prepared for Cappadocia Red Tour

Before getting into the details of the route of our Cappadocia Red Tour program, we would like to inform you about the preparation session that comes first.

By reading this section, you will be completely ready!

Since red tour includes a lot of walking, it is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

We highly recommend you to bring your hat, sunglasses and sun cream in order to protect yourself from the harmful effect of the sun.

You might prefer to put your camera, a bottle of water and some snacks in your bag.

Before being picked up by us, you should wear comfortable clothes and shoes to be able to explore comfortably everywhere we go.

The Start of North Cappadocia Tour

Approximately at 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia (transfer fee from/to Urgup, Ortahisar, Uchisar and Cavusin districts is 20 Turkish Liras) by our fully-equipped, comfortable and modern vehicle to start tour officially.

Then, we will drive until we get to the first stop.

Devrent Valley

Also known as Imagination Valley, Devrent Valley will be the first stop of our Cappadocia Red Tour.

This impressing place is full of fairy chimneys that look like some particular things such as animals or figures.

In other words, it is the perfect area for sharpening your imagination and creativity; thus, every chimney you will see will resemble something else!

Also, thanks to our professional and licensed guide, you will be able to learn interesting facts while you are observing them.

When time is up, though, we will head to another amazing place.

Pasabag (Monks Valley)

The second stop will be Pasabag, which is also known as Monks Valley.

This place is very popular for both local and foreign tourists by having exclusive features such as being one of the most characteristic fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.

Moreover, it also has an exciting story that will make the place much richer, and you will learn this information thanks to our guide.

During the time in there, you will be observing impressive rock formations which will ornament the peaceful and striking atmosphere.

Also, this area is perfect for photography; and you should fill your camera roll with breathtaking chimneys!

Avanos Town

Next, we will visit Avanos Town, which is the next stop of Red Tour in Cappadocia.

This town will make you fall in love with it at the first sight by being very sympatric and authentic.

It is divided into two pieces by flowing waters of Kizilirmak River, and a bridge connects these pieces tightly.

You will learn more; yet, we can say Avanos is very popular for its pottery shops.

All of the handmade potteries are sold in local markets and wait for their admirers.

After walking around and observing the local life of Avanos, we will head to a local restaurant where we will have a delicious lunch all together.

During the lunch break, you will refill your energy bar and please your stomach with appetizing Turkish dishes.

Goreme Open Air Museum – An Important Part of Red Tour

Next, we will get to Goreme Open Air Museum, one of the most popular tourist attractions of Cappadocia, as the next stop.

While you are getting charmed with its historical background (especially if you are into the stories in Christianity) which will be told by our guide, you will be enjoying the magnificent scenery that is crowned with chimneys, rock-carved chapels, basilicas and churches.

Of course, you will be able to visit and observe them and feel all the spirits that they hide.

Esentepe Wish Hill (Temenni Hill)

The next stop of our tour will meet your “high” expectations by being settled at the 1140 meters above the ground!
Esentepe Wish Hill has a breathtaking location and that is how it will provide delightful sceneries for you.

While you are learning its story which goes back to the historical dates, you will truly admire every brown inch of the place under your feet.

Uchisar Rock Castle

The last stop of our Cappadocia Red Tour will be Uchisar Rock Castle.

It is located at the highest point of entire Cappadocia; thus, you can easily understand how magnificent view it will provide for you.

Also, it has a significant story that will impress you as well as its natural structure.

Learning its story, taking photos of it and observing the bumpy lands of Cappadocia will be a remarkable memory.

When time is up, we will get on our vehicle and get ready to take you to your hotel.

At approximately 05:00 pm (17:00) you will be at your hotel.
